Projector mounted in it's new home. It's a Sharp XV9000 DLP unit.
Um - markings of moving the mount are evident - cant move the hole ! |
|

 |
Sample picture from the projector. The walls are still only coated with Dulux emulsion as a primer for the re-plastered wall. Screen Goo will be painted soon.
Keg Ci400 eggs installed - but positioning may change. I am restricted by the eaves for the placement of the right speaker, so left needs to be at the same height. I've elected to mount the side speakers at the same level, but rears will be higher.
Note : there are no black-out blinds installed yet |

The Hole is in. The projector will now be sitied outside of the cinema room.
Previously the projector was mounted in the room at the back, but had to be lowered to clear the RSJ. This meant no seating could be placed there. The switch to the hall now means bigger picture and makes the room usable for seating. |

All the 8 x 20 watt Low Voltage lights connected. On a plug for now, but will be moved to an X10 LD11 module later.
The 20 watt bulbs were chosen to give maximum dimming control when viewing the screen.
Excuse the grey - a moment of madness in choosing a colour scheme. |
